Family Solicitor (NQ – 5 PQE)
Location: Leicester
Salary: £52,000 – £65,000 + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working
Are you a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Family Solicitor with up to 5 years’ post-qualified experience looking for your next career move within a highly regarded Family team?
A leading Legal 500, multi-office law firm is seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor to join its established and successful department in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team, working on a varied caseload of high-quality privately funded family matters.
You will join a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside experienced family lawyers and benefiting from excellent training, development, and career progression opportunities.
The Role
As part of the Family team, you will manage a varied caseload of privately funded matters, including:
- High-value divorce and complex financial matters
- Financial remedy cases involving significant assets
- Children matters
- Cohabitation and TOLATA disputes
- Cohabitation agreements
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- NQ – 5 PQE experience within Family Law
- Experience handling privately funded family matters
- A strong interest in developing within a leading Family team
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
- The ability to work confidently within a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues across all levels of the firm
