Join a Firm Where People Come First
Are you an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career within a firm that genuinely values its people?
At Aequitas Legal, we are not just another law firm. We are a fast-growing, multi-award-winning Personal Injury practice, and this opportunity has arisen from continued business growth and an expanding caseload.
We are proud to hold Investors in People Gold accreditation, recognising our commitment to developing, supporting, and investing in our team. Combined with our award wins and strong market reputation, this shows we are a firm that truly delivers for both our clients and our people.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join our expanding team. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters, consisting primarily of Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Occupiers' Liability (OL) claims, with a smaller proportion of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience managing their own caseload and will be confident progressing claims from inception through to settlement or trial, where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of Personal Injury claims from inception to conclusion.
- Handling a varied caseload primarily comprising EL, PL and OL matters.
- Investigating liability and quantum issues.
- Reviewing medical evidence and preparing schedules of loss.
- Negotiating settlements with insurers and defendant representatives.
- Progressing litigated and non-litigated claims.
- Delivering high-quality, empathetic client care throughout the claims process.
- Communicating effectively with clients, experts, insurers and third parties.
- Working efficiently within a structured and supportive team environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
