London | £70,000–£80,000 + benefits

One of my clients, a leading Top 50 UK law firm, are looking to add an NQ Solicitor to join its highly regarded London Construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a top-ranked construction practice, working alongside experienced lawyers on a high-quality and varied caseload.

The successful candidate will focus predominantly on non-contentious construction work, advising a broad range of clients on matters including:

  • Construction and engineering contracts
  • Development and redevelopment projects
  • Building and infrastructure projects
  • Professional appointments
  • Consultant and contractor agreements
  • Procurement and project documentation
  • General construction-related contractual matters

The work is predominantly domestic, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise across a broad range of construction matters while gaining early responsibility and client exposure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
