Private Client Solicitor NQ-2
Salary: £40-45K dep on experience, East London + Hybrid Working after probation
Are you a talented and motivated newly qualified or junior Private Client Solicitor looking to join a supportive and well-established law firm where you can develop your expertise and progress your career?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor, open to an NQ-2 years PQE, to join a highly regarded Private Client team. This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload, work closely with experienced colleagues, and provide invaluable support to clients during important life events.
This position would suit a Private Client Solicitor, who has gained solid private client experience and is confident handling their own matters with appropriate supervision and support.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Will drafting
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration
- Probate and intestacy matters
- Trusts

You will manage files from initial instruction through to completion, providing practical, sensitive and client-focused advice throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own varied private client caseload
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Handling probate and estate administration matters
- Advising on Trust-related issues
- Meeting clients and taking instructions
- Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties
- Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
- Supporting the continued growth of the Private Client department
- Participating in networking and business development activities where appropriate
About You
You will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with NQ-2 years' PQE
- Have experience in Private Client work
- Be comfortable managing your own caseload
- Have experience of Wills, LPAs, probate, estate administration and Trust matters
- Possess excellent communication and client care skills
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Be able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
