Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Solicitor role based in Dorking. This role is a maternity cover role which will be for up to 12 months from October 2026. The Solicitor will manage personal injury matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Drafting legal documents
- Conducting legal research
- Negotiating settlements
- Representing clients in correspondence with insurers, opposing counsel, and other parties
The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and support staff to ensure cases are progressed efficiently, with a strong emphasis on client communication, clear explanation of legal options, and coordination of medical and rehabilitation services where appropriate. The Solicitor will also contribute to firm-wide initiatives to enhance service quality and maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with qualification or eligibility to practice as a Solicitor in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience or demonstrable interest in Personal Injury Law, with the ability to manage a varied injury-related caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear client correspondence and precise drafting.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workloads, and work collaboratively within a small firm environment.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality client care.
- Proficiency with legal practice management systems and general IT skills.
- Prior experience in a personal injury or litigation-focused practice is highly beneficial.
