Are you a qualified Solicitor with a passion for landlord and tenant law and a talent for managing a high-volume caseload?

We're looking for a Solicitor providing legal oversight and support across a busy portfolio of residential and commercial claims.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Debt Recovery – Claims, you'll take ownership of a caseload of service charge, ground rent, and possession matters, while also playing a hands-on role in supporting and developing the wider Claims team.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing a caseload of service charge, ground rent, and possession matters (residential and commercial) independently and proactively
  • Supporting day-to-day supervision of the team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
  • Reviewing claims, evaluating merits, and advising clients accordingly
  • Preparing and approving notices, claims, applications, and related court documents
  • Advising on possession and enforcement strategy for escalated matters
  • Providing guidance on breach of covenant matters and general landlord & tenant queries
  • Supporting the induction, growth, and development of the wider team, embedding department procedures and technical expertise
  • Championing a cooperative, collaborative working environment that supports the growth of the business and its people

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Independent, proactive, and highly organised
  • Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage a varied, high-volume caseload independently
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Clear, confident communicator with clients and third parties
  • Experience with long residential lease landlord & tenant matters — breaches of covenant, service charge, and ground rent debt recovery desirable
  • Experience in money claims dispute resolution across all County Court case management tracks
