We are recruiting for a Court of Protection Solicitor – Associate (REMOTE) and a Mental Health / Court of Protection Solicitor – Supervisor (REMOTE) role.
Salary: above market and dependant on qualifications and experience.
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Benefits: private health care (after 1 year at the company), company pension scheme.
Remote work and flexible hours available.
Bonus scheme.
About the role:
- You will be responsible for conducting all aspects of Court of Protection case work (health and welfare)
- Opportunity to expand into different areas of Law with training and support
- You will predominantly work on deprivation of liberty challenges and s16 MCA 2005 application
- You should be able to manage your own caseload and coordinate paralegals for support
- Ensuring compliance with file management
- Time recording

About the candidate:

- 0- 3 years’ post qualification experience (PQE) in handling a case load of mental capacity welfare work
- Must have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying
- Working knowledge of Legal Aid and CCMS desirable
- Good working knowledge of Mental Capacity Law and practice appropriate to PQE
- Proactive
- Excellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Manage your own caseload and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized case records.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build strong client relationships
