Solicitor at Komodo Law
Champion driver-first justice and run meaningful litigation across fast-track and small claims in a modern, supportive environment.
Dedicated legal partners. Driver advocates. Zero-stress claims. ⚖️
Komodo Law was founded to remove the stress and complexity of non-fault motor claims. We are a team of legal experts specialising in advocating for drivers, fighting to get the best outcome across uninsured losses, lost earnings, personal injury, credit hire, and repairs—all handled by a single, dedicated team. One point of contact, zero stress. Headquartered in Brighton, we hire fully remote talent across the country. Want to work where legal expertise meets modern, driver-first advocacy? You’re in the right place.
The Role
Komodo Law is seeking a motivated Solicitor to take charge of an active caseload across personal injury, credit hire, and recoveries. Working with supportive supervision, this role leads cases across small claims and fast-track proceedings while building the foundation for higher-complexity work and future supervisory responsibilities. The focus centers on delivering compassionate, transparent client guidance, executing accurate legal drafting, and securing fair settlements.
This role reports to the Practice Manager and sits within a team of 6. Our company HQ is based in Brighton, but we operate as a remote-first team, meaning you can perform this role 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK.
What You'll Do
- End-to-End Caseload Stewardship: Direct files from initial instruction through to final conclusion, maintaining strict adherence to internal quality benchmarks and risk management protocols.
- Empathetic Client Partnership: Deliver timely, accessible counsel to drivers during vulnerable moments, transforming complex legal terminology into clear, supportive guidance.
- High-Impact Drafting & Court Preparation: Produce comprehensive pleadings, witness statements, letters of claim, and hearing bundles designed to build compelling legal arguments.
- Strategic Settlement Advocacy: Champion driver recoveries through constructive, firm negotiations while briefing and collaborating with counsel when hearings arise.
- Tech-Enabled Case Progression: Leverage systems to stay on top of critical deadlines, manage tasks cleanly, and safeguard SRA compliance across every file.
- Collaborative Practice Growth: Share knowledge across the team, engage in ongoing professional development, and step into mentoring opportunities as the practice expands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
