Role: Litigation Solicitor

Location: London

Proper Recruitment are working with a highly regarded law firm who are looking for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value disputes, whilst playing a key role in the continued growth of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad caseload including commercial disputes, contract claims, property disputes, and regulatory litigation
  • Provide strategic and commercially focused advice from initial instruction through to resolution
  • Handle matters involving negotiation, mediation, and trial
  • Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and other litigation documents
  • Manage court proceedings and liaise with clients, counsel, courts, and third parties
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the Litigation Department

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years PQE with a strong Litigation background
  • Experience handling complex, multi-party, or high-value disputes
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and court processes
  • Ability to manage cases independently from inception to completion
  • Excellent client management, communication, and analytical skills
  • ADR, cross-border litigation, and business development experience beneficial
