Employment Solicitor – 2–6 PQE Birmingham | Hybrid Working | Up to £70,000
Are you an Employment Solicitor looking for high-quality respondent work, genuine flexibility and the opportunity to develop a sector specialism within a leading national law firm?
Oculus Legal Group is working with a highly regarded national practice looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor with around 2–6 years’ PQE into its growing Birmingham team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong national Employment practice, working alongside experienced senior lawyers and Partners while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of solely respondent employment matters, advising organisations across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues, including:
- TUPE
- Unfair dismissal
- Redundancy and restructuring
- HR advisory matters
- Employment contracts and policies
- Settlement agreements
- General employment disputes and day-to-day advisory work

A particularly exciting aspect of this opportunity is that you will become part of a team dedicated to clients within the education sector.
No previous education sector experience is required.
The firm is much more interested in finding a technically strong Employment Solicitor who is passionate about employment law, keen to learn and interested in developing expertise within the sector.
You will work as part of an established national team with plenty of support from senior lawyers and Partners, alongside opportunities to develop your technical expertise, client relationships and longer-term career.
