Real Estate Finance Solicitor | London | Associate to Partner | £65,000 - £250,000+

Build, or bring, a Real Estate Finance practice with genuine autonomy - whatever stage you're at in your career.

About the Opportunity

We're working with a number of well-regarded London law firms who are actively growing their Real Estate Finance teams, with live opportunities spanning Associate through to Partner and Senior Partner level. These firms advise banks, alternative lenders, developers, investors and funds on property-backed lending, from acquisitions and refinancings through to development and structured finance. Culturally, they share a common thread: commercially driven, client-focused, and genuinely invested in giving senior lawyers the autonomy and influence to build something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act for lenders and/or borrowers on secured real estate finance transactions
  • Manage a caseload of real estate finance matters from instruction through to completion
  • Draft and negotiate finance documents, security packages and related documentation
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with banks, alternative lenders, investors and referrers
  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice across acquisitions, refinancings and development finance
  • Contribute to the growth of the real estate finance practice through business development and profile-raising
  • At senior level, bring and develop an existing client following and book of business
  • At senior level, support and mentor more junior lawyers within the team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
