Private Property Associate | NQ–3 PQE | Cheltenham
NQ–3 PQE | Private Property | Cheltenham | Hybrid
A leading UK law firm is looking to strengthen its Private Property team in Cheltenham with an Associate at NQ–3 PQE.
This is a great opportunity for a Property Solicitor who wants to work on high-quality, complex property matters for HNW and UHNW individuals, families, trustees, charities, private banks, and investment companies.
The work is varied and sits at the intersection of property and private client, giving you the opportunity to build a broad and commercially valuable practice rather than being restricted to one area of property.
There is also scope to develop a particular specialism in landed estates, agricultural, and rural property. Previous experience in this area would be advantageous, but genuine interest and a willingness to develop in this space are equally important.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
