Litigation Lawyer – Edinburgh
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join the Office of the Advocate General, the UK Government’s Scottish Legal Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied and often high-profile caseload involving public law, judicial review, human rights, constitutional law, equality law, and devolution matters.
The role:
- Manage a varied litigation caseload
- Advise UK Government departments on complex legal matters
- Work on public law, judicial review, human rights, constitutional law, equality law, and devolution matters
- Work closely with Counsel and other legal professionals
- Represent clients in Court and Tribunal proceedings where required
- Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

We are looking for:
- Scottish-qualified Solicitor or Advocate with a Valid practising certificate
- Strong litigation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage complex matters and tight deadlines

Key contract Details:
- Salary: £63,758 - £334.77 per day LTD - Paye: (INC) £284.00
- Queen Elizabeth House (QEH) Edinburgh – Hybrid, 40% office based
- Initial 6-month contract with possible extension 23 months
