Litigation Lawyer – Edinburgh

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join the Office of the Advocate General, the UK Government’s Scottish Legal Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied and often high-profile caseload involving public law, judicial review, human rights, constitutional law, equality law, and devolution matters.

The role:

  • Manage a varied litigation caseload
  • Advise UK Government departments on complex legal matters
  • Work on public law, judicial review, human rights, constitutional law, equality law, and devolution matters
  • Work closely with Counsel and other legal professionals
  • Represent clients in Court and Tribunal proceedings where required
  • Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

We are looking for:

  • Scottish-qualified Solicitor or Advocate with a Valid practising certificate
  • Strong litigation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex matters and tight deadlines

Key contract Details:

  • Salary: £63,758 - £334.77 per day LTD - Paye: (INC) £284.00
  • Queen Elizabeth House (QEH) Edinburgh – Hybrid, 40% office based
  • Initial 6-month contract with possible extension 23 months
