Solicitor Advocate / Barrister Opportunities – Legal 500 Firm

Looking to develop your advocacy career without compromising on work-life balance?

I am working with a leading Legal 500 law firm that is expanding its advocacy team and is looking to recruit at multiple levels. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, nationally recognised legal business offering high-quality work, genuine career development and a working culture that puts its people first.

The firm specialises in insurance litigation and legal services, working with major insurers, businesses and other organisations across the UK. With an extensive national practice, a strong reputation in its market and a forward-thinking approach to legal services, it offers the opportunity to develop your advocacy expertise within a well-established and highly regarded team.

The opportunity

The firm is keen to speak with experienced Solicitor Advocates and Barristers, but is equally interested in qualified Solicitors with a strong fee-earning background who are looking to transition into advocacy. Full training and support will be provided to help the right candidates make this move.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
