Family Solicitor (2-5 PQE) | Family Boutique | £50k-£65k | Fully Remote

Role: Private Family Solicitor - 2-5 PQE

Firm: Close-nit Boutique

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000

Location: Fully remote, will consider part-time (Chelmsford courts)

Our client, a close-nit and family run boutique, is looking for a mid-level Family Solicitor to join their team on a fully remote basis, managing a caseload of good quality privately funded matters and attending matters local to Chelmsford. With 6 years managing a diverse caseload of divorce, financial, child, and co-habituation matters, the existing team of 3 have been hugely successful and has an growing client base and excellent reputation.

Technologically confident, this firm offers fully remote working for a candidate who can attend matters in the Chelmsford family courts. Flexible working is encouraged, with they would consider part-time working for the right person. If you are a developing family solicitor with a focus on work/life balance, this could be the role for you!

The Role

This role involves providing a high-quality legal service to good quality clients across all aspects of privately funded family law matters:

  • Manage a caseload of privately funded family matters including divorce, financial, child, and co-habituation matters.
  • Work independently with support and oversight from team members when necessary.
  • Support senior solicitors with more complex matters when necessary.
  • Develop a strong client base, communicating clearly and consistently.
  • Research appropriate case law and provide high quality technical advice as needed.

What they are looking for

  • UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX member of 2-5 years PQE (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis).
  • Experience in private family law within a reputable team, ideally with experience assisting high quality clients.
  • Strong academics from a reputable university.
  • Friendly demeanor with an interest in assisting with team development.
  • An enthusiasm for family law.
