About the Role
Due to continued international growth, Oikonomakis Law is expanding its London presence and seeking a highly qualified Solicitor to join our UK team. This role offers exposure to high-profile clients, complex matters, and the opportunity to take on key leadership and compliance positions within our London branch.
You will join a firm that values professionalism, collaboration, and continuous development. As part of a growing international network, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, gaining invaluable cross-border experience.
This is a diverse legal role involving advisory work, dispute resolution, drafting, negotiations, and regulatory oversight. The successful candidate will also assume core compliance and management positions within the London office:
- COLP - Compliance Officer for Legal Practice
- COFA - Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration
- Manager & Head of Legal Practice (London Office)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation across a wide range of matters
- Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, agreements, and reports
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across our international offices to deliver effective solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK laws and regulations, ensuring full SRA compliance
- Oversee compliance processes and support the operational management of the London branch
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, upholding the firm's high standards of service
Requirements
We are seeking a solicitor with strong legal expertise and a proactive, client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified UK Solicitor status
- Minimum 5 years' experience in practice
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple deadlines
- A self-driven mindset with a high standard of professional integrity
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commercial awareness and confidence in engaging with clients
- For more senior candidates: leadership experience and the ability to foster a positive team environment
- Fluent written and spoken English
