Solicitor (2-3 years’ PQE) - Commercial Litigation
We’re looking for a Solicitor (2-3 years’ PQE) to join our Commercial Litigation team in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team that advises clients on a broad range of commercial disputes. You'll work on varied, high-quality matters and be given the opportunity to take ownership of your own work while continuing to develop your technical and commercial skills.
The team handles a wide range of disputes, including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Insurance and business interruption claims
- Professional negligence claims
- Partnership disputes
- Restrictive covenant disputes
- Shareholder rights and disputes
- High Court litigation and arbitration
The work is often complex and high value, offering excellent exposure and the opportunity to build a well-rounded commercial litigation skillset.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision
- Supporting on larger and more complex disputes
- Advising clients on a range of contentious commercial matters
- Drafting and reviewing correspondence, pleadings, witness statements and court documents
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and other third parties
- Supporting mediations, settlement negotiations and other dispute resolution processes
- Contributing to case strategy and matter progression
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You
We're looking for a commercially minded solicitor who is keen to continue developing their career within a highly regarded litigation team.
You'll have:
- Around 2-3 years' PQE within a Commercial Litigation team
- Experience advising on a range of commercial disputes
- A good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process
- Experience drafting correspondence, pleadings and witness statements
- Exposure to High Court litigation, mediation and/or trial preparation
- Strong organisational, communication and client management skills

- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
