We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Solicitor to join Talbots as part of our growing Corporate & Commercial Team, based from our Stourbridge, Wolverhampton or Worcester office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE to develop their career within a highly regarded and supportive team. Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality corporate and commercial matters, advising a diverse portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, directors, and shareholders.

You'll have the opportunity to work on business sales and acquisitions, company restructures, shareholder matters, commercial contracts, and wider strategic business advisory work. With a strong support network around you, this role offers the perfect environment to build your technical expertise, increase your client exposure, and take the next step on your journey towards Associate level.

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about delivering excellent client service. What does the job involve?

  • Managing your own caseload of corporate and commercial matters with appropriate supervision and support
  • Advising a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, directors, and shareholders
  • Assisting on complex and high-value corporate transactions and commercial projects
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and corporate documentation
  • Building strong relationships with clients and delivering practical, commercially focused advice
  • Working closely with experienced colleagues to develop your technical expertise and sector knowledge
  • Taking part in networking and business development activities to support your professional growth and the success of the team

What do you need?

  • Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE gained within a reputable Corporate & Commercial team
  • Experience managing your own caseload and supporting on a range of corporate and commercial matters
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and genuine enthusiasm for developing your career in Corporate & Commercial law
  • A desire to learn from experienced colleagues and progress towards Associate level
