When completing your application, you can choose to be considered for the Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship, the Paralegal Apprenticeship, or both programmes.
What is a Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship?
Our Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship is a paid, six-year programme that combines academic study with hands-on legal experience, leading to qualification as a solicitor.
As Part Of The Programme, You Will Achieve:
- A Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship
- A qualifying law degree (LLB)
- The Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE)
- Extensive practical legal experience
You will study with our training partner, BPP University Law School, dedicating one day each week to off-the-job learning. The remaining four days will be spent working within one of our legal teams, applying your knowledge from day one.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll take on increasingly complex work, supported by a strong network of colleagues and mentors. You'll also gain experience across a range of practice areas through six to twelve-month seat rotations, working alongside legal experts and building valuable client exposure from the outset.
What is a Paralegal Apprenticeship?
Our Paralegal Apprenticeship is a paid, two-year programme that combines academic study with practical experience, leading to qualification as a paralegal.
As Part Of The Programme, You Will Achieve:
- A Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship
- A Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education (Law and Legal Practice) awarded by BPP University
- Valuable workplace experience
You will study with BPP University Law School, spending one day each week on off-the-job learning while working within our legal teams for the remaining four days.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take on increasingly varied and complex work. You'll complete at least two placements, giving you the opportunity to experience different areas of the business while developing your legal and professional skills. Throughout the programme, you'll work alongside experienced legal professionals and gain meaningful responsibility and client exposure.

Application Process
Stage 1 - Written application
Applications are now open and will close at noon on Thursday 22 October. Please note, we are unable to accept any applications after this deadline.
Stage 2 - HIPO-I interactive online assessment
Stage 3 - Virtual Interview
Interviews will take place on week commencing 7 December and 14 December. Please note, we are unable to provide any alternative dates.
Stage 4 - Assessment Centre
Assessment Centres will take place on week commencing 11 January and 18 January 2027. Please note, we are unable to provide any alternative dates.
