Private Client Senior Associate / Legal Director, 5+ PQE

Top 20 International Law Firm | £70,000–£105,000 + Bonus up to 20% | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Full or Part Time - Birmingham

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ PQE to join a leading Top 20 international law firm as a Senior Associate or Legal Director. This is a genuine growth opportunity within a firm that is actively investing in and expanding its Private Client offering in the city.

The team already has a strong and consistent pipeline of high-quality instructions, so there is no requirement to bring a following. The focus is on delivering excellent client service, developing the team and building a long-term career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will join a friendly and highly experienced Private Wealth team, advising a broad range of high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and entrepreneurs on complex and often high-value Private Client matters.

The Role

You will manage your own varied caseload while working closely with senior colleagues across the wider Private Wealth team.

Your work will include:

  • Complex Wills, including trust provisions
  • Estate planning and succession strategies
  • Business succession planning
  • Trust creation, administration and restructuring
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Inheritance Tax planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Wealth preservation for high-net-worth clients
  • Advising business owners, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families

About You

You will ideally be a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ PQE, with strong experience across a broad range of Private Client matters.

You will be confident advising high-net-worth individuals and families and be looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of your work while continuing to develop your career within a leading international practice.

This could be particularly attractive to someone looking for a Senior Associate or Legal Director-level opportunity without the pressure of having to bring an existing following, while still having the opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of the team.
