Solicitor | Manchester City Centre | 5 days on site | Paying up to £55k DOE

An excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking for a role where they can build broad commercial experience, take real ownership of their work, and avoid being pigeonholed into one area of law.

We’re recruiting for a Manchester-based law firm who provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and support to businesses across a broad range of issues. The team is growing and offers the opportunity to work closely with both clients and internal stakeholders on matters that genuinely vary from day to day.

The role

This is a varied position covering both contentious and non-contentious work. You’ll have responsibility for your own caseload and will be involved in matters including:

  • County Court litigation and dispute resolution
  • Employment law advice and Employment Tribunal matters
  • Regulatory investigations, inquests and prosecutions arising from workplace incidents
  • General commercial advice
  • Corporate and transactional matters, including exposure to M&A
  • Supporting businesses within the wider group on a range of legal issues

About you

You’ll ideally be a confident Solicitor with experience gained in private practice or in-house. A solid grounding in commercial and/or employment law. Commercially minded. Comfortable managing a busy caseload while still giving clear, pragmatic advice to clients and stakeholders. You’ll be someone who enjoys building relationships and taking pride in delivering a genuinely high level of client service.
