A well-established national Legal 200 firm, a top tier Legal 500 Personal Injury team, is looking to expand with an experienced Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence Associate (ideally 2-5 PQE). Their existing team includes 6 qualified legal professionals recognized for their expertise in personal injury, medical negligence, and catastrophic injury matters including fatal accidents, spinal and brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, public and occupier’s liability, road traffic collisions, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury matters from start to finish with good levels of independence and support.
  • Assist partners and senior lawyers with more complex matters and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Deal directly with clients with clear communication skills ensuring full understanding and compliance.
  • Develop strong client relationships.
  • Support the continuing growth and expansion of the existing team and client base.

Skills and Experience

  • UK qualified Solicitor with 2 - 5 years PQE (other levels will be considered) from a reputable firm.
  • Experience managing Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence matters independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technically strong understanding of personal injury and clinical negligence caseload with strong legal research skills.
  • Good academic background including a strong undergraduate degree.
  • Ability to lead in relevant matters.
  • A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
