We are seeking an experienced and qualified Solicitor or Barrister to join our dynamic Legal Services team. This role focuses on providing expert legal advice and representation, particularly in Civil Litigation and Dispute Management. You will handle complex cases, including Adult Social Care debt recovery, commercial disputes, and property litigation. As a Solicitor (Litigation), Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing legal advice and guidance to internal and external clients.
- Representing Nottinghamshire County Council in civil litigation matters.
- Managing complex cases related to Adult Social Care, commercial disputes, and property litigation.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and local government frameworks.
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Possess
- A law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Civil Litigation and Dispute Management.
- Knowledge of local government law and statutory frameworks.
- Familiarity with areas such as criminal litigation and employment law is advantageous but not essential.
