Hall Brown Family Law is a leading multi-site, multi-award-winning boutique family law firm specialising in high-net-worth family law, with an enviable reputation in the marketplace. As a result of continued growth nationally, the firm is looking to recruit a newly qualified solicitor / chartered legal executive up to a maximum of 2 years PQE to join its Liverpool office on a permanent basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly, professionally and sensitively with clients, colleagues and third parties, providing accurate advice and updates under appropriate supervision and helping to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of excellent client care, including the importance of managing expectations, exercising professional judgment, undertaking legal research where required and seeking guidance from more senior colleagues when appropriate.
- Undertake fee-earning work appropriate to your level of qualification and experience, including assisting with and, where appropriate, progressively managing aspects of both litigated and non-litigated family law matters under supervision.
- Assist with a varied range of private family law matters, including divorce/dissolution, financial remedy, private children work, cohabitation and nuptial agreements.
- Prepare and assist with legal documents and procedural tasks, including attendance notes, correspondence, court forms and applications, financial disclosure, instructions to counsel or experts, and hearing bundles.
- Support appropriate business development and networking activity, including assisting with local profile-raising, contributing to team initiatives and developing professional relationships in a way that is proportionate to your level of experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to work and a developing ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and seek support where needed.
- Ability to ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
- Maintain accurate file records, time recording and billing information in accordance with firm procedures, and comply with relevant AML, data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute positively to departmental/firm-wide activities.
- To comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct at all times.
- To carry out any other duties as and when required whenever reasonably instructed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, to include Word, Outlook and Excel and so contribute positively to relevant training as required.

Miscellaneous
This role enables you to be based primarily at Hall Brown’s Liverpool office, with travel to and work from our other offices as and when reasonably required.
Due to the firm’s continued growth and anticipated future expansion, the right candidate will have the opportunity to develop their family law expertise in a supportive, high-quality environment, with clear scope for career development and salary progression as their experience grows.
The successful candidate will receive appropriate supervision, mentoring and training, with exposure to high-quality family law work and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as their confidence and experience develop.
