We are working with an international law firm based in London for an Associate to join their Professional Indemnity team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Professional Indemnity team, advising leading UK insurers and professionals on complex and high-value professional negligence claims.
The role will involve defending claims against solicitors, accountants, IFAs and surveyors, with particular exposure to construction claims involving architects, engineers and contractors. The successful candidate will manage litigated matters in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, advise on insurance coverage, draft pleadings and legal advice, support mediation and adjudication, and develop relationships with insurer and professional clients.

Essential Criteria:
- 2-5 years’ PQE;
- Professional indemnity law background;
- Excellent academics;
- Analytical;
- Technically excellent;
- Strong communication skills;
- Flexible and collaborative team player.
