Role Description
The Solicitor will work on-site in Standish in a full-time capacity, providing legal advice, representation, and case management across all areas of private family law. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, assessing legal needs, advising on their respective issues, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing case files, and preparing for negotiations and court proceedings. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective handling of matters, maintaining accurate records, and staying current with legal and regulatory developments. The Solicitor will be expected to deliver clear, empathetic communication, support clients through their legal issues, and contribute to the firm’s reputation for high-quality, accessible legal services.

Qualifications

- Qualified Solicitor with appropriate professional accreditation and a valid practicing certificate;
- NQ or 1-2 years qualified;
- Experience or interest in Family Law;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and professionally;
- Well organised and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines;
- Experience with IT and social media;
