Employment Solicitor – Senior Associate / Legal Director
Location:
Regional offices excluding London – e.g. Manchester; Leeds; Birmingham
Working arrangements:
Flexible working opportunities considered
Salary:
Up to £100,000
Job Overview
This role is designed to attract an experienced employment lawyer with around 5 PQE or more. The successful candidates will be based from one of the firm's offices outside London which includes Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
Our client is seeking a technically accomplished employment lawyer with demonstrable experience across contentious, advisory and transactional employment law work.

More about the role
The successful candidate will:
- Advise a broad client base, including company owners and managers, HR professionals, in-house lawyers, public and private sector organisations, senior employees and executives
- Advise on employee relations matters, including disciplinary proceedings and grievances
- Manage Employment Tribunal cases, including whistleblowing and discrimination claims
- Advise on dismissals, redundancies and business restructurings
- Support corporate transactions and advise on TUPE matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the employment practice

Candidate profile
Applicant should have demonstrable experience of contentious, non-contentious and transactional employment matters, together with the ability to manage a caseload and deliver practical, commercially focused advice.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
- A clear understanding of clients’ commercial needs and expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A commitment to following appropriate professional guidelines and procedures
