Construction Solicitor – 2+ PQE | Top Tier L500 & HNW Chambers Ranked | London, City | Contentious & Non-Contentious matters | Hybrid Working from home 3 days per week
The Firm:
The firm has 100+ fee-earners and around 150 staff, with a strong reputation in the London market. Despite its growth, it has retained a genuinely personable and collaborative culture, with Partners actively involved in the development of junior lawyers.
Progression is a particular strength: 19 people were promoted in the latest appraisal round, including five new Partners, while one solicitor has progressed from NQ to Director within five years.
With a strong record of internal progression, a supportive culture and flexible hybrid working, this is an opportunity for a construction lawyer looking for a firm where they can build a long-term career.
The Role:
You will handle a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, working closely with Partners and advising clients across construction, real estate and development.

The role will include:
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.
- Construction due diligence and project documentation.
- Advising on live projects, contractual issues and risk management.
- Supporting adjudication, arbitration, litigation and TCC matters.
- Direct client contact and relationship management.
- Working alongside Real Estate, Finance and Dispute Resolution teams.

The Candidate & Benefits:
The firm is ideally seeking a 2+ PQE Construction Solicitor, although there is flexibility for the right candidate.
You should have construction experience, ideally across contentious and/or non-contentious matters, with knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. The firm is looking for someone commercially minded, technically strong and keen to develop a long-term career in construction.
