Role: Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer (5+PQE)

Location: Bromsgrove Office
Hours: 5 days per week
Term: Permanent

The Residential Team

You will work alongside Partner Lucie Couchman and other fee earning and support colleagues at our Bromsgrove office. Our Residential team of 44 also operates from mfg’s Kidderminster, Telford, Worcester and Ludlow offices.

Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by…

  • managing a caseload from instruction to completion including sales, purchases, both freehold and leasehold re-mortgages, ensuring excellent client service is achieved at all times.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing a range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, country properties, re-mortgages, shared ownership, right to buy, leases and easements in accordance with relevant conveyancing processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice changes and requirements.
  • Sharing best practice and supporting the professional development of others.
  • Supporting business development activities as may be required.

Requirements

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualified experience in Residential Property conveyancing.
  • Proven experience handling a variety of conveyancing matters commensurate to the level of role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
