Keoghs Glasgow
We are growing our Keoghs Scotland’s Abuse team in Glasgow and are looking for a Solicitor or Associate. This is a challenging, high-impact role advising a varied and interesting client base on complex and sensitive claims. You’ll work with a dynamic, supportive team and engage with evolving legal issues. Ideal for those with Sheriff Court/Court of Session personal injury experience. This role offers real scope for career growth across wider legal fields.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated abuse claims (Defender)
- Forensic review and analysis of documents, liability, quantum, and causation
- Drafting advice, court documents, and correspondence
- Preparing witness statements and instructions to experts and counsel
- Liaising with clients and conducting site visits
- Supporting Partners and contributing to team initiatives
- Engaging in business development through articles, blogs, presentations, and events
Working Hours
35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is the Glasgow Office although we operate flexible working.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in sensitive and complex claims
- Sheriff Court appearances and instructing in the Court of Session
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
