Solution Analyst
We are looking for a Solution Analyst to support a large government customer in understanding and modelling its digital estate.
Sitting between a Technical Business Analyst and a Solution Architect, you will work with stakeholders to gather, validate and maintain information about applications, IT components, interfaces and supporting technologies. You will capture both the technical composition of applications and the business context in which they operate, modelling this information within LeanIX.
You will work as part of a blended team comprising Seren Delta consultants and client Solution Architects and Solution Analysts, working collaboratively to create an accurate, consistent and valuable view of a large and complex technology landscape.

- Gather information about applications, infrastructure, software, cloud and on-premises technologies.
- Capture application purpose, ownership, dependencies, interfaces and business context.
- Model and maintain architecture information within LeanIX.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
- Review, validate and improve the quality and completeness of architecture data.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and relationships across the digital estate.
- Work closely with Solution Architects and other analysts to apply consistent modelling standards.
- Translate technical information into clear, structured and accessible records.
Skills and experience
- Experience in business analysis, solution analysis, architecture analysis or a related role.
- A good understanding of how applications are structured and supported, including software, infrastructure, cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong information-gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
- Confident facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to understand both the technical and business context of an application.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
- A curious and methodical approach, with the confidence to ask effective questions.
- Experience with LeanIX, another enterprise architecture tool, or EA modelling languages and notation is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working in a large, complex or government environment would be beneficial.

This is not a deeply technical engineering role. It would suit someone who is comfortable discussing technology, understands how applications fit into a wider organisation, and enjoys turning complex information into a clear and reliable architectural view.
