Solution Architect – Contract Position – HIRING ASAP

Location: Hybrid working in London office
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Till April 2027, extension thereafter
Daily Rate: £550 per day Inside IR35 (Negotiable)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale transformation programme involving Oracle ERP demobilisation, migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Workday separation activities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering ERP migration and separation programmes, with strong expertise across solution architecture, enterprise integrations, data migration, cutover planning, and transition delivery. Experience working with Oracle ERP, D365 Business Central, and Workday environments is essential.

Experience Needed

  • Extensive Solution Architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
  • Proven delivery experience across ERP transformation, migration, or separation programmes.
  • Strong Oracle ERP architecture, migration, or demobilisation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations or migrations.
  • Experience supporting Workday separation, migration, or integration programmes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and data migration strategies.
  • Experience defining migration, cutover, transition, and operational readiness approaches.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide architecture assurance across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and assure end-to-end solution architectures for Oracle demobilisation, D365 Business Central migration, and Workday separation.
  • Develop current-state, transition-state, and target-state architecture designs.
  • Support data migration, integration, cutover, and service transition activities.
  • Assess technical dependencies, risks, and impacts across applications, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Define integration approaches across APIs, middleware, batch and file-based interfaces.
  • Produce architecture artefacts including HLDs, solution designs, roadmaps, and decision records.
  • Support architecture governance, design reviews, and stakeholder approvals.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and third-party vendors throughout the programme lifecycle.
