Solution Architect
1-2 days a week in Sheffield
Initial 6-month Contract
£700 - £800 p/day | Inside IR35
We're recruiting for a Global IT Services Provider seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to operational resilience regulations and internal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create resilience-focused HLDs/LLDs aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy
- Translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs
- Act as a design authority for resilience initiatives, reviewing and approving technical designs
- Provide architectural input into programmes including technology modernisation, cloud migration and system decommissioning

Requirements:
- 6+ years as a Solution Architect with proven experience working in a large enterprise bank within the past 3 years' (essential)
- Experience across one or more of the following - Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
- Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
- Knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of operational resilience frameworks, RTO/RPO, backup/DR, and dependency mapping.
