Solution Architect

1-2 days a week in Sheffield
Initial 6-month Contract
£700 - £800 p/day | Inside IR35

We're recruiting for a Global IT Services Provider seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to operational resilience regulations and internal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create resilience-focused HLDs/LLDs aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy
  • Translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs
  • Act as a design authority for resilience initiatives, reviewing and approving technical designs
  • Provide architectural input into programmes including technology modernisation, cloud migration and system decommissioning
  • Documentation & Reporting

Requirements:

  • 6+ years as a Solution Architect with proven experience working in a large enterprise bank within the past 3 years' (essential)
  • Experience across one or more of the following - Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of operational resilience frameworks, RTO/RPO, backup/DR, and dependency mapping.
