Solution Architect

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Solution Architect to work with a key client based in London.

Please note this role falls INSIDE IR35

Job Description:

Your focus will be architecting solutions across both sides of our international operating model:

  • B2C (Business-to-Consumer): Direct-to-customer digital commerce channels, market-specific customer experiences, and the product, price and availability flow that underpin them.
  • B2B (Business-to-Business): Partner, franchise and marketplace integration, wholesale propositions, and the fulfilment, warehouse and logistics integration that connect with commercial partners.

Working with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Delivery and partner teams, you'll design robust, scalable and secure solutions that connect business ambition with pragmatic architecture choices delivered at pace.

What You'll Do

  • Define end-to-end solution architectures for B2C and B2B systems, covering technology, data, integration, security, resilience and operational supportability.
  • B2C: Shape scalable architectures for direct-to-consumer digital commerce, market-specific customer experiences, and the product, price and availability flows that underpin them.
  • B2B: Shape scalable integration patterns for partner, franchise and marketplace onboarding, wholesale propositions, and fulfilment, warehouse and logistics integration.
  • Translate business goals and product roadmaps into target and transition-state architectures that are practical, secure and aligned to enterprise standards.
  • Work across squads, product areas, platforms and partner teams to join up dependencies, risks, design decisions and delivery plans.
  • Provide architecture guidance to engineering and product teams, helping them make clear, pragmatic decisions without slowing delivery.
  • Support supplier, partner and procurement conversations by assessing options, constraints, technical fit and trade-offs.
  • Contribute to the Architecture Community by sharing knowledge, improving guardrails and promoting reusable patterns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
