Solution Architect (IAM) SC Cleared

Location: Reading - Hybrid

Rate: £600-£700/day Inside IR35

We are seeking a Solution Architect (IAM) to join a leading organisation delivering secure technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment. You will be responsible for designing and evolving Identity and Access Management solutions that protect critical resources while enabling secure and efficient access.

Working closely with Product Owners, Cybersecurity teams, Technical Leads and Enterprise Architects, you will define IAM architectures covering authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access controls, while supporting the adoption of Zero Trust principles.

Key Responsibilities as a Solution Architect (IAM)

  • Design and deliver secure IAM solution architectures aligned to business and security objectives.
  • Define authentication, authorisation and access management solutions.
  • Ensure IAM integrations across applications, APIs and third-party platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and support remediation activities.
  • Maintain solution documentation, standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with security and architecture stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.

Experience you'll need as a Solution Architect (IAM)

  • Proven experience designing and implementing IAM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access controls.
  • Experience with security architecture, risk assessment and Zero Trust principles.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Experience within complex enterprise, government or regulated environments is desirable.
  • Active SC Clearance required.
