Are you the kind of person who loves solving complex puzzles and shaping the future of tech? If so, we’ve got a brilliant opportunity for you. We’re on the lookout for a Solution Architect who can bring clarity to complexity, guiding our teams to deliver smart, secure, and scalable technology solutions. You’ll be right at the heart of our digital transformation—where business ambition meets technical brilliance. This role is based in Wakefield, just off Junction 41 on the M1 with hybrid working (2-3 days a week on site).

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll help turn strategic goals into clear, practical architecture designs that guide how we build and integrate enterprise solutions. Working across a wide range of services, you’ll ensure solutions are aligned with governance standards and built to last.
  • Evaluating options and shaping requirements with stakeholders will be a key part of your role, making sure everything stays feasible and focused throughout delivery.
  • You’ll also champion modern technologies and integration patterns to improve agility and scalability.
  • During build and transition phases, you’ll support delivery teams with detailed designs and technical leadership. Strong relationships—both internally and with vendors—will help keep everything aligned.
  • And you’ll play a part in improving our architecture tools and practices to drive consistency and reuse.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
