Solution Architect - Corporate Communications
Rate: £550 - £650 per day Outside IR35
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Midlands - once a week on site
The Role
We are supporting a major organisation undergoing a large scale digital transformation across its internal communications landscape. They are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a modern employee communications platform.
This role will focus on shaping end to end architecture across corporate communications technologies, with particular interest in candidates who have worked with platforms such as Blink, Workvivo or Staffbase. You will work closely with business leaders, technology teams and third party partners to define solutions that improve employee engagement, communication effectiveness and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define solution architecture for corporate communications and employee engagement platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture design workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Produce high level and detailed design documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
- Support platform integration's across Microsoft 365, HR systems and wider business applications.
- Provide technical leadership throughout delivery and implementation phases.
- Work closely with project teams, vendors and business stakeholders to manage architectural risks and dependencies.

Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large and complex environments.
- Strong experience delivering corporate communications or employee engagement platforms.
- Previous experience with Blink, Workvivo, Staffbase or similar products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and integration patterns.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at senior leadership level.
- Experience producing architecture artefacts and governance documentation.
- Understanding of security, data privacy and enterprise integration principles.
