About the Role

FossID is looking for a Solution Architect & Customer Success Manager to own the technical success of our customers throughout their journey with FossID—from initial evaluation through implementation, adoption, and ongoing value realization.

This is a customer-facing technical role that operates across pre-sales, solution architecture, onboarding, and customer success. You will help organizations understand how FossID fits into their software development and governance environment, design the right solution, guide successful implementation, and ensure they continue to achieve measurable value from the platform.

You will work closely with the Account Executive, who owns the overall customer relationship and commercial aspects of the account. You own the technical relationship and customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate understands modern software development environments and can comfortably engage with developers, DevOps and DevSecOps teams, security teams, open source program offices, legal and compliance stakeholders, and engineering leadership.

What You’ll Do

Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering

  • Partner with Account Executives during the sales process to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how FossID can address them.
  • Lead technical discovery with prospective customers.
  • Understand the customer's software development lifecycle, DevOps architecture, security processes, and open source governance requirements.
  • Translate technical and business requirements into an appropriate FossID solution.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations of FossID capabilities.
  • Design and lead proofs of concept and technical evaluations.
  • Answer technical questions related to architecture, integrations, deployment, security, scanning, SBOMs, and software risk management.
  • Help customers establish technical success criteria and evaluate FossID against them.

Solution Architecture, Onboarding & Activation

  • Once a customer chooses FossID, take ownership of turning the proposed solution into a successful production implementation.
  • Design the customer's FossID implementation and integration architecture.
  • Guide configuration, deployment, and integration into development and governance workflows.
  • Help customers integrate FossID into IDE, source control, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and software compliance processes.
  • Establish appropriate scanning, policy, SBOM, and governance workflows.
  • Advise customers on applying FossID across different development environments, software portfolios, and use cases.
  • Coordinate with FossID Product, Engineering, and Support teams when deeper technical expertise is required.
  • Drive customers toward successful activation and operational readiness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Ability to explain complex technical and risk concepts clearly and pragmatically.
  • Comfortable leading customer meetings, technical demonstrations, workshops, implementations, and technical reviews.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward helping customers achieve outcomes rather than simply deploying technology.
