We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of technical change across a large-scale Energy Markets IT environment. This is a 6-month contract role.
Inside of IR35
£650 - £750
Hybrid working - Offices available throughout the UK
Must have experience of ETRM systems / trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and technical design across Energy Markets systems and platforms.
- Provide architectural governance and technical leadership to IT delivery teams.
- Shape and drive cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
- Strong background within the energy trading sector.
- Extensive experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMS), including both legacy and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong analytics and data platform expertise, including Databricks.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-native Azure solutions.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tooling.
- Experience leading architectural governance and technical change initiatives.
