Solutions Architect – InsureTech Applications

Location: London (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £110,000 base + bonus + comprehensive benefits

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solutions Architect to play a key role in building the next generation of InsureTech products for a global technology and insurance services organisation.

Working within a newly established product engineering function, you will help define the architecture, technical direction, and delivery of modern insurance platforms that solve complex business challenges for insurers, brokers, and MGAs. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that are secure, resilient, and built for growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership in a product-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end solution architectures for modern InsureTech products and digital platforms.
  • Lead architectural design across multiple product workstreams from concept through implementation.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure architectural standards and best practices are followed.
  • Drive API-first, event-driven and microservices-based architecture principles.
  • Champion cloud-native application design, automation, security, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD, deployment automation, and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology landscape.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to align technology with strategic objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
