Are you a Solutions Architect (telecom operator background) with experience across Mobile Core, Voice & Security?
This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a company building an AI + network security product being integrated directly into operator networks.
The Opportunity
Our client develops network-native security solutions designed to protect voice, messaging and data traffic across telecom operator networks. They are looking for an experienced Telco Solutions Architect to act as the technical design authority for how their platform integrates into live mobile operator environments.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing position requiring deep telecom infrastructure knowledge combined with the ability to work closely with product, engineering and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for deployments into mobile operator networks, including network integration, call-flow design and deployment topology.
- Design solutions across on-premise, hybrid and cloud environments.
- Act as the internal technical design authority, reviewing and challenging architecture and product decisions.
- Engage directly with mobile operator network architects, security teams and infrastructure leads.
- Translate complex telecom infrastructure requirements into clear guidance for product and engineering teams.
- Feed real-world operator network requirements and constraints into product development and roadmap decisions.
- Assess technical integration trade-offs across latency, signalling, interworking, data residency, cost and operational requirements.
- Determine the technical feasibility of proposed integrations and solution designs.
- Support technical discussions throughout solution design, integration, testing and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and guidance across internal and customer teams.

Required Experience
- Deep hands-on experience within mobile telecommunications infrastructure, gained within a mobile operator or major telecom/network technology vendor.
- Strong understanding of mobile core, voice/calling systems, signalling and carrier-grade network architecture.
- Strong understanding of how telecom services integrate and operate within live mobile networks.
- Experience designing network integrations and telecom call flows.
- Experience building, integrating or delivering technology products alongside software and engineering teams.
- Proven experience working directly with telecom operators and senior technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex network architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to operate as a credible technical peer to Core Network, Voice, Security and Infrastructure Architects.

Desirable Experience
- Experience with IMS, SIP, VoLTE, VoNR, Diameter, SS7, SIGTRAN or related telecom signalling technologies.
- Experience with Mobile Core, IMS or Voice Core architecture.
- Knowledge of telecom security, fraud prevention, signalling security or identity solutions.
- Experience with technologies such as SBCs, signalling firewalls, SS7/Diameter security or voice fraud prevention.
- Experience designing solutions across on-premise, hybrid and cloud-native telecom environments.
- Previous pre-sales, Sales Engineering or customer-facing Solutions Architecture experience.
- Experience working within an early-stage, high-growth or fast-moving technology environment.

- Full-time permanent or contract engagement can be considered
