Join us as a Solution Architect (Power Platform)

Play a key role in shaping how automation, low-code development and AI are adopted across the University. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a growing Power Platform capability, enabling colleagues across the University to deliver impactful digital solutions safely and effectively.

You’ll combine hands-on expertise with strategic leadership to define standards, guide delivery, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and sustainable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts and Enterprise Architecture to translate requirements into end-to-end solution designs, covering applications, data, integration and automation.
    • Lead and support a community of citizen developers, helping them adopt best practice and deliver high-quality solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys setting direction, solving complex problems, and enabling others to succeed - while staying close to modern Microsoft technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and emerging AI capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
