About the Job You’re Considering
As a Solution Architect in SAP Strategic Business Solutions (SBS), you will work on pre-sales through to execution, working on the conversion of our most exciting and high-profile opportunities into iconic wins, and then working on programmes to deliver the solution. Your work will centre on large or strategic business transformation programmes, underpinned by ERP, that require cross-Capgemini capability.
You will work on UK opportunities or global opportunities with a UK component and will collaborate with colleagues across business lines and geographies to build solutions for our clients.
Capgemini UK Applications focuses on helping our clients achieve business value though digital transformation and the application of social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies. We are an Agile cloud-first organisation delivering API enabled digital solutions that scale, using on and offshore capabilities.
We are experts in navigating our clients through the complexities of large-scale, technology enabled business transformation programmes, using our skills to drive outstanding delivery and business outcomes. Strategic Business Solutions (SBS) sits within Applications and has been highly successful in winning work in multiple major accounts.
Hybrid working: The places that you work day to day will vary according to your role, your needs and that of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client site and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home for 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual), or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, contribute and lead solutions underpinned by AI using the “best of Capgemini” from across Capgemini UK and our global business.
- Build SBS’s internal reputation through collaborative and focused working that results in compelling solutions for our clients.
- Work closely with the rest of the other Capgemini practices and external partners to create compelling solutions for our clients, ensuring our work is reusable in other pursuits.
- Innovate and devise compelling propositions for existing clients.
- Build a thorough knowledge of Capgemini’s internal assets. Work with a world-class and continuous improvement mindset to identify, or where appropriate build/or oversee the building of, innovative offers, methods and tools that can become part of our standard delivery approach.
- Post award, work with, or in, delivery teams to help ensure they are set up for success and that the solution is well delivered.
- Represent Capgemini to our clients’ organisations, building personal and corporate credibility and confidence.
- Represent Capgemini externally with an active industry profile. Deliver specific delivery work or provide expertise on projects in billable work.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Your deep solution experience should include partnering with other experts, both within and outside your organisation, to design winning end-to-end solutions.
- You will possess excellent client facing skills and be fluent presenting to, and forming relationships with, our clients and being seen as a trusted advisor.
- You will be experienced in participating in challenging or large-scale bids and responses from first engagement to starting delivery.
- You will be adept at using AI and continuously curious about leveraging emerging agentic and leading technologies.
- You will have a strong understanding of solving client business problems using technology.
- You will design solutions reaching across the Capgemini ecosystem and our partners, to build unique and compelling offers.
- Your long history of delivery excellence will mean you bring strong client and partner relationships and you will be a magnet for talent within the consulting market.
- You will likely have experience in multiple industries and will have a deep knowledge of their value chains and pain points.
