Solution Architect (SAP WM)
Location: UK-Based (Flexible Remote/Hybrid Working)
Package: Excellent Salary + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Role Overview
Shape Warehouse Transformation. Influence Strategy. Make Your Expertise Count. Many SAP WM Solution Architects reach a point where they want more than simply delivering another project.
They want greater influence. More ownership. The opportunity to work alongside specialists who genuinely understand supply chain operations. They want to help customers solve complex business challenges rather than spend their time navigating internal layers and governance.
At The Config Team, that's exactly what we offer.
For over 30 years, we've specialised in SAP supply chain solutions, helping some of the world's most recognisable organisations improve warehouse, manufacturing and logistics operations.
Unlike broad IT consultancies, supply chain is our focus, our expertise and our passion.
We're now looking for an experienced SAP WM Solution Architect to join our growing team and play a key role in helping customers maximise the value of their SAP investments.
Why This Opportunity?
This role offers the chance to become a trusted advisor to customers, leading solution design across complex warehouse and logistics transformation programmes.
You'll have the autonomy to shape architecture decisions, influence customer strategy and guide project teams from initial design through to successful delivery.
You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside our software team and contribute to innovative solutions such as PreBilt™ for EWM, helping customers achieve more from their SAP landscape through technology that solves real operational challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
