Service Business Consultant
Are you a driven sales professional looking for your next high-impact career move? Mitie Fire & Security is seeking a Service Business Consultant to accelerate the growth of our multi-discipline maintenance portfolio through strategic solution selling.
In this role, you will take full ownership of your pipeline, from conducting technical on-site audits to closing lucrative recurring contracts and managing high-value client relationships. Role Overview
The Service Business Consultant is responsible for professionally representing the company brand, driving growth, and expanding the FAFS portfolio of recurring maintenance contracts across all service disciplines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new B2B customers who require multi-discipline Fire & Security services.
- Attend scheduled sales appointments to pitch and close company products and services.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise sales opportunities.
- Conduct Fire & Security audits at client premises to generate tailored recommendations.
- Build and retain robust, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage customer expectations proactively to ensure seamless, surprise-free service delivery.
- Escalate client concerns quickly and effectively through designated internal channels.
- Generate timely quotations and ensure all sales documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Provide reliable monthly sales forecasts and regular activity reports to the Sales Manager.
- Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs and order intake targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry legislation and product developments to advise clients accurately.

Experience & Technical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed commercial order targets.
- High energy, drive, and enthusiasm for business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly structured and organised approach to pipeline management.
- Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering premium levels of service.
- Proven track record in negotiating and advising on Fire & Security solutions would be a bonus.
