Solution Consultant
We’re looking for a Solution Consultant to join our growing Solutions team at AutoStore. This customer-facing role provides technical expertise across the customer journey, helping customers and partners build confidence in AutoStore solutions. You will play a key role in supporting strategic account growth, developing high-quality solution designs, enabling partners, and ensuring customers are supported from initial concept through to future expansion.
Working closely with the Greater Europe Commercial team, Worldwide Solutions, Product & R&D, customers, and partners, you will develop high-quality solution designs, support strategic opportunities, enable partners, and act as a trusted technical advisor from initial concept through to future growth.
As part of the Regional Commercial Team, with a solid connection to the Worldwide Solutions Team, you will combine deep solution design expertise with cross-functional collaboration to drive customer success and help scale AutoStore’s reach across the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end solution design process for AutoStore opportunities, translating customer requirements into validated solution proposals through operational analysis, material flow modelling, simulations, 3D renderings, and customer proposal presentations.
- Develop expertise in AutoStore technology, products, and integration strategies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Support strategic and enterprise opportunities by leading solution design activities, developing validated concepts, providing ROM estimates and ROI input, and delivering technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
- Educate customers and partners on AutoStore capabilities, product developments, and best practices to maximise solution value and adoption.
- Enable the partner ecosystem through training, technical support, and solution governance, helping partners independently design and deliver successful AutoStore solutions.

Key Qualifications
- Experience in solution design, technical consulting, engineering, or a related customer-facing environment.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate customer requirements into scalable and commercially viable solutions.
- Ability to develop and deliver clear, customer-facing solution proposals supported by simulations, visualisations, cost estimates, and structured proposals.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to support the commercial team on opportunities across the full customer journey.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to coordinate across regional teams.
- Comfortable supporting enablement activities, including training and technical guidance for key stakeholders.

This role can be based remotely anywhere in the UK. Our office is located in Castle Donington.
