This is your role
As a Nevis Solution Consultant, you serve as a bridge between the technical aspects of Nevis security solutions and our clients' business needs. You play a critical role in helping clients make informed decisions about their security infrastructure and in ensuring that the proposed solutions align with their security requirements and objectives.
You are a hands-on technology enthusiast with a strong understanding of computer networks and protocols, as well as expertise in Identity and Access Management solutions. You are also comfortable diving into complex configurations, setups, and occasionally code.
Base location: Preferably in DACH, Budapest, or London. You are expected to reside in the location you are applying for.
In your daily work, you will...
- be a trusted advisor on the security products and services offered by Nevis. You will understand our offerings in depth, including their features, capabilities, and limitations.
- work with customers and partners to understand their requirements and align them with Nevis' capabilities.
- design tailored security solutions that address customer needs, using creativity and innovation to develop effective and cost-efficient solutions.
- deliver live demonstrations and workshops showcasing Nevis security products and services, helping clients understand how the solutions work and how they can benefit from them.
- maintain and evolve training and demo environments, ensuring they are current, stable, and reliably showcase Nevis product capabilities for demonstrations, workshops, and PoCs.
- deliver on-site technical training on Nevis products to customers and partners, helping build product expertise within their teams.
- conduct proof-of-concept projects (PoCs), including hands-on technical work and coordination between customers, partners, and Nevis.
- assist in preparing detailed proposals, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, outlining the recommended security solutions from a technical perspective.
- provide input and feedback to Engineering and Product Management based on your practical experience with customers and partners.
- develop reusable materials that can be shared with the Nevis community, including blog posts, best-practice guidelines, white papers, and configuration templates.
- exchange knowledge with customers, partners, and other Nevis professionals.

This is you
- a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2-4 years of solid experience working as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Software Architect, or in a similar role.
- experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
- a good understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, Single Sign-On (SSO), and LDAP.
- some experience with development languages or technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Spring Boot, Flutter, or native Android/iOS development is a plus.
- experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- a good understanding of computer networks, including load balancers, web application firewalls (WAFs), DNS, HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
- a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- German at native level or at least C1 proficiency.
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
