TechWolf: Solution Consultant

TechWolf is the #1 AI and data layer for workforce transformation. Use accurate, AI-driven skill data for strategic workforce planning, internal mobility, and skills-based hiring and learning.

At TechWolf, we are seeking innovative, curious, and driven individuals to join our team and help shape the future of pre-sales at a fast-growing scale-up. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact in a smaller, agile team environment while rapidly progressing their career.

Role Overview

As a Solution Consultant at TechWolf, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor throughout sales cycles. This role blends business acumen and deep technical expertise. You’ll work closely with the sales team to uncover prospective client pain points and strategic objectives, and translate them into effective solutions. This involves:

  • Demonstrating the capabilities, advantages, and differentiators of TechWolf’s leading AI-powered skills and work technology
  • Crafting tailored solutions that optimise the value of TechWolf data and insights within an organisation's technology landscape
  • Defining project scopes and timelines

As a data layer and API-first technology within the HR technology space, the ideal candidate will have expertise in technical topics relating to data, integrations, and architecture, while understanding the business challenges and value TechWolf delivers. You will be the bridge between technical capabilities and business impact, and being able to clearly articulate this connection is essential. Internally, Solution Consultants operate at the intersection of different functions at TechWolf, including Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Professional Services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth technical discussions with HR technology experts, showcasing your expertise and building credibility with potential clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on their journey to becoming a skills-based organisation and helping them unlock the full potential of skills data.
  • Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and challenges, and translate these insights into tailored TechWolf solutions.
  • Take a lead role in managing and orchestrating customer RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that TechWolf's capabilities are clearly communicated and aligned with client needs.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner to help clients succeed and maximise the value they gain from our technology.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to align customer requirements, market trends, and the product roadmap, ensuring our solutions meet evolving industry needs.
  • Craft and deliver customised propositions and Statements of Work, setting the foundation for successful customer engagements.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales cycle to the post-sales experience, driving long-term customer value.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our pre-sales process, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to help streamline and optimise our approach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
