Solution Design Opportunities

If you have seen anything about our story so far, ID Logistics may be relatively new to the UK market, but we are backed by over 25 years of experience across the globe. We are an ambitious organisation and, as opportunities continue to grow within our UK business, we are expanding our Solution Design Team.

We are looking for passionate and experienced Solution Design professionals who are eager to make an impact within a fast-growing business. Whether you are looking to broaden your experience, work on exciting customer solutions, or contribute to innovative logistics projects, we would love to hear from you.

About You

You will have experience working within the 3PL market in a Solution Design capacity. You will be able to analyse, design, and cost-optimise solutions for both new and existing operations, delivering innovative and practical solutions that meet customer and business requirements. You will enjoy working with data, solving complex operational challenges, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to develop best-in-class logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the information, resources, and requirements needed to prepare customer proposals and solutions.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their operational requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Analyse operational data and processes to maximise efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to support solution development and tender submissions.
  • Analyse customer specifications and data to develop robust operational and warehouse solutions.
  • Propose technical and operational solutions, determining resource, equipment, technology, and financial requirements.
  • Support the integration of technologies to improve automation, reduce manual intervention, and enhance visibility and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial proposals and business cases.
  • Conduct operational reviews and audits to support new business opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and Project Management, to ensure solutions are practical, achievable, and aligned to business objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
