Location

This role is open to candidates based in Germany, Ireland, and the UK.

  • Ireland & UK: Fully remote.
  • Germany: Choose the way you work best—either fully remote or hybrid from one of our offices in Berlin, Munich, or Cologne.

Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll own the technical pre-sales process for our Enterprise customers, partnering closely with Account Executives to help customers understand how SoSafe can solve their security challenges.

You'll lead technical discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, validate technical requirements, and guide customers through security and procurement processes. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing, you'll play a key role in winning complex enterprise opportunities and ensuring customers have confidence in our solution.

Core Skills And Experience

  • Enterprise pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Leading technical discovery and qualification using frameworks such as SPICED, MEDDIC, or similar methodologies.
  • Delivering engaging, value-based product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Enterprise identity and access management concepts, including SSO, SAML, SCIM, role-based access control, and user provisioning.
  • APIs, integrations, and modern SaaS architectures.
  • Security reviews, technical questionnaires, RFPs, and working with procurement and security teams throughout the buying process.
  • Communicating confidently with both technical and executive stakeholders, including CISOs, security teams, procurement, data protection, and compliance teams.
  • Collaborating effectively with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing.
  • Professional fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.

AI Literacy

We're looking for someone who is comfortable using AI as part of their day-to-day workflow. This includes:

  • Using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to support research, discovery preparation, proposal writing, and customer communication.
  • Leveraging AI to improve productivity while maintaining sound technical judgement.
  • A curiosity to explore new AI capabilities and incorporate them into pre-sales workflows.
  • Experience with lightweight automation or scripting is a bonus and demonstrates a builder mindset.

Nice to have

  • Cybersecurity, Human Risk Management, Security Awareness Training, or Learning platforms.
  • Enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity technologies.
  • Regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, or TISAX.
  • Behavioural science or security awareness programmes.
  • Selling into large, regulated organisations across the DACH region.
  • Additional European languages.
  • A hands-on, builder mentality with an interest in improving processes and creating technical solutions.
